Official sales of the BYD Yuan Up DM-i hybrid crossover will begin in Uzbekistan on March 26. Pre-orders opened on March 23 with a refundable deposit of 7 million soums if the final price does not meet customer expectations.

What about pricing and positioning?

The final price will be announced on the launch day. Customers who place pre-orders are promised special financial offers. The model is expected to become one of the most affordable hybrid vehicles from BYD in Uzbekistan and a key automotive release of 2026.

Will it be locally produced?

The vehicle is planned to be assembled in Uzbekistan. Initially, production will involve assembly from imported kits, with full local manufacturing expected to be established by the end of the year.

Why does this model matter?

The hybrid system significantly reduces fuel consumption while allowing daily commuting on electric power alone. A 110 km electric range is sufficient for most urban driving needs.

At the same time, the total range of up to 1100 km eliminates concerns about long-distance travel, making the vehicle a practical and versatile choice. If priced competitively, it could become a strong contender in the Uzbek automotive market.
