Head of the Presidential Administration Saida Mirziyoyeva announced that practical measures have begun to implement the president’s decision on modernizing the national transport system. The initiative aims to significantly improve traffic management and urban mobility in the capital.

According to her statement, the newly established Traffic Management Center organized a presentation focusing on reducing congestion in Tashkent, addressing environmental concerns, and strengthening public transport oversight.

What changes are planned in the coming days?

Reports presented during the briefing indicate that large-scale measures will soon begin. These include the installation of “smart” traffic lights, the application of road markings in compliance with established standards, and the systematic organization of parking areas across the city.
