Chairman of the Board of JSC “Uzbekneftegaz” Abdugani Sanginov held an open dialogue with employees of the Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex. The meeting was attended by the enterprise’s management team, youth representatives, and rank-and-file workers.
At the beginning of the discussion, the Chairman provided a detailed overview of the reforms being implemented in the oil and gas sector, measures aimed at increasing production efficiency, ongoing efforts to improve working conditions, and initiatives designed to strengthen social protection for employees.
During the dialogue, Abdugani Sanginov personally addressed all issues and questions raised by employees, emphasizing the importance of resolving existing problems promptly and effectively without unnecessary delays. He also announced plans to visit the complex personally on a quarterly basis to directly monitor the situation on site.
Particular attention was paid to infrastructure-related matters. Specifically, a proposal to repair and restore approximately five kilometers of roadway connecting the complex with residential areas where employees live was approved. Clear instructions were given to responsible officials to initiate implementation of this project.
A number of important decisions were also made in the area of social support. Among them was the approval of a proposal to provide special work clothing to employees on a seasonal basis rather than once per year. In addition, management was tasked with exploring opportunities to organize education within foreign companies for the children of long-serving and dedicated employees of the plant.
Special emphasis was placed on employees working in hazardous conditions. Responsible departments were instructed to develop a regulatory and legal framework providing for compensation payments to this category of workers. This initiative was highlighted as an important step toward ensuring occupational safety and social fairness.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the enterprise’s management was assigned the task of increasing production volumes by 15 percent. Achieving this goal will require optimization of production processes, enhancement of workforce capabilities, and the introduction of modern operational approaches.
The open dialogue served as an effective platform for listening to employee concerns, identifying practical solutions, and strengthening an atmosphere of transparency and mutual trust within the enterprise.
