In 2026, the holy month of Ramadan (Orozo) in Kyrgyzstan is expected to begin on February 18, according to preliminary data. This information was reported by the press service of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan.
One of the most significant nights for Muslims, Qadr Night (Laylat al-Qadr), is expected to fall on the night of March 16–17. According to Islamic tradition, it corresponds to the 27th night of the month of Ramadan.
The holiday Eid al-Fitr (Orozo Ait), which marks the end of the month of obligatory fasting, is preliminarily expected to be celebrated on March 20. On this day, believers perform the festive Eid prayer.
The Muftiyat emphasizes that the beginning and end of Ramadan are determined in accordance with the lunar calendar and are confirmed after the sighting of the new moon. Therefore, all the dates mentioned above are preliminary and subject to official confirmation.
