What initiative has been launched and who announced it?

According to the press service of the Traffic Safety Department of the Tashkent City Main Department of Internal Affairs, on-site inspections of vehicles for compliance with environmental requirements have officially begun. The initiative applies to all categories of vehicles operating within the city.

What legal basis regulates this process?

The inspections are carried out in execution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan Resolution No. 750 dated November 28, 2025, titled “On measures to introduce the ‘Eco-Friendly Transport’ system aimed at reducing the harmful impact of vehicles on atmospheric air.”

How is the environmental inspection conducted?

Special technical inspection points have been established across Tashkent, where specialists measure the level of pollutants in vehicle exhaust emissions. Based on the inspection results, an eco sticker is issued for the vehicle.

Where can drivers obtain an eco sticker?

Vehicle inspections and eco sticker issuance are available at the following locations:

  • 118 “A” Bunyodkor Street (Sobir Rahimov), Chilanzar District;
  • 43 Beshkent Street (Fayzabad);
  • 53 Vodil Street (Uzbom), Mirabad District;
  • 2 O. Zokirov Street (Gvardeyskaya).
