Uzbekistan Chess Awards 2025: Best Players, Experts and Annual Achievements Honored

During the press conference, the results of the year were officially summarized and future plans were presented. In addition, individuals who made a significant contribution to the development of chess in Uzbekistan were honored in a ceremonial awards presentation.

Best chess players of the year:

  • Best Chess Player of the Year — Javokhir Sindarov
  • Best Female Chess Player of the Year — Umida Omonova
  • Best Young Chess Player (Under 12, Boys) — Nurmuhammad Nematillakhonov
  • Best Young Chess Player (Under 12, Girls) — Khusnora Khusniddinova
  • Best Young Female Chess Player (Under 20) — Afruza Khamdamova
  • Best Young Male Chess Player (Under 20) — Muhiddin Madaminov

Para chess and veteran categories:

  • Best Male Para Chess Player of the Year — Marsel Shoyusupov
  • Best Female Para Chess Player of the Year — Selbi Kakisheva
  • Best Veteran Chess Player of the Year — Oktam Sheraliyev

Referees and specialists:

  • Best Chess Referee of the Year — Komiljon Azizov
  • Best Chess Analyst of the Year — Ulugbek Tillayev
  • Best Chess Commentator of the Year — Anton Kim

Special and honorary awards:

  • Most Spectacular Chess Game of the Year — Nodirbek Abdusattorov
  • For Outstanding Contribution to Chess Development — Sergey Pinchuk
