President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has awarded the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the UAE, Abdulaziz Akkulov, with the First Class Order of Independence in recognition of the successful completion of his diplomatic mission in the country.
According to Dunyo, the high state award was ceremonially presented at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates by the Minister of State, Saeed bin Mubarak Al Hajeri, during an official meeting.
During the meeting, the sides discussed key issues of bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates, emphasizing a shared commitment to further strengthening partnership across all priority areas.
Saeed bin Mubarak Al Hajeri highly praised Abdulaziz Akkulov’s contribution to advancing bilateral relations throughout his diplomatic tenure, highlighting his important role in expanding mutually beneficial cooperation, and wished him success in his future professional activities.
In response, Abdulaziz Akkulov expressed his deep gratitude to UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the distinguished honor. He noted that the progress and achievements in bilateral relations reflect the firm determination of the UAE leadership to strengthen the country’s position on the global stage.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the diplomat also conveyed appreciation to all government institutions for their constructive cooperation, which contributed to the effective strengthening of bilateral ties.
It is worth recalling that Abdulaziz Akkulov was previously appointed Chairman of the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
