Temporary Restrictions Imposed on Methane Filling Stations Due to Severe Cold Weather

Due to a sharp drop in air temperatures, temporary restrictions have been introduced on the operation of vehicle gas filling compressor stations, commonly known as methane filling stations, in certain regions.

To ensure uninterrupted supply of energy resources to consumers, the national energy system is currently operating under an enhanced 24-hour режим. Ongoing activities across regions are under constant supervision, and any emerging technical issues are being promptly addressed.

The significant decrease in temperature has led to a surge in demand for natural gas. As a result, reduced gas pressure in pipeline networks has been observed in some areas.

Supplying natural gas to residential households, healthcare facilities, and educational institutions remains the top priority under the current conditions.

For this reason, temporary limitations have been placed on the operation of methane filling stations. These measures are strictly aimed at maintaining stable gas supply for the population during cold weather and are of a short-term nature.

Once the situation stabilizes and gas pressure returns to normal levels, all imposed restrictions will be lifted. Additional information will be provided depending on developments in the regions.

At the same time, gas supply to social sector facilities and public transport vehicles is being maintained without restrictions and in a stable manner. Ensuring uninterrupted operation of public transport is essential for preserving the quality and continuity of services provided to the population.
