In the final days of December 2025, an incident involving the release of an oil-containing liquid to the surface was recorded at the “M-25” field located in Boysun District.
To prevent the further spread of the oil-containing liquid, additional protective and containment ponds were promptly constructed around the site and along the stream bed.
The collected oil-containing liquid is being continuously transported to a specially designated area. This site is equipped with two specially insulated sludge ponds, each with a capacity of 5,000 cubic meters, ensuring safe storage and enabling the potential for effective future utilization.
All operations are being carried out in full compliance with current industrial and environmental safety requirements.
Laboratory analysis of the oil-containing liquid samples is underway. Based on the results, possible processing and utilization options will be assessed. Geological studies in the area are also continuing.
At present, the situation remains under constant monitoring, and the release of the oil-containing liquid has been brought under control. Cleanup activities are ongoing to remove oil residues that initially flowed into the channel during the early stages of the incident.
Additional information regarding the situation will be provided as it becomes available.
